MISS LADY SWAMP PUSSY…Performance art can be hit or miss, but last Sunday the stuff going on for Radical Queer Semaine was awesome! Especially Miss LSP. Loved the bedroom/outsider/trashy feel of the songs!

LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST: Eric’s blog called called “Le Coeur du Quartier” (The Heart of the Neighbourhood). In his own words:

“I started a new blog called “Le Coeur du Quartier” (The Heart of the Neighbourhood) which came about after Laurel and I moved recently from the Montreal hood of NDG (Notre-Dame-de-Grace) to the most eastern point of the Ville-Marie borough, just east of downtown. The problem we encountered is that this neighbourhood was hard to define or label… and a name would probably be the most basic point needed to feel connected to one’s community…I wanted to find out the name of our neighbourhood… was it Hochelaga, Centre-Sud, Sainte-Marie or St-Eusèbe? Why was this neighbourhood in limbo hiding in no-man’s land somewhere between two more well-known neighbourhoods of Montreal: Hochelaga-Maisoneuve and the Gay Village?“
