More photos of us! It is a very duo-centric image, but it’s kinda fun too. Of course, we can’t wait to have a permanent third member on board! Check it o-u-t:

Erin & Amber, photographed by Lara Kaluza!
Ta-DA! Okay, it’s pretty much the same thing as the GIF animation we tossed onto our myspace page, but less eye-strain-y.

Fun arteest to follow! DAYNA MACLEOD!

Photo from nomorepotlucks.org
Dayna is an awesome interdisciplinary arteest and this is part of her “About”:
- “Currently, my primary interests of artistic and theoretical research are in sexual identity construction, gender, girl culture, feminism, anti-feminist backlash, femininity, lesbianism, homophobia, and media representations of sexuality, queer identity, and everything female. I am currently in production for a 3-part stop-motion/collage animation series with an Artistic Research and Creation grant from le Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec entitled, The Incredibly Embarrassing Adventures of Vagina Dentata that takes the iconography of the vagina dentata legend complete with teeth, fear, power, and taboo and turns it into an awkward, adolescent girl growing up somewhere in Canada.”
She is also coordinating this awesome year-long weekly video dialogue called ’52 Pick-Up’ featuring one-minute videos from a variety of participants…we hope to get involved! Check it out here.

Home decorating? Wanna trick out your pad/practice space/cubicle? Get some rad 60s film inspiration here!
Also, Design*Sponge has a super fun “sneak peeks” section dedicated to profiles on different artists, crafters and designer’s personal homes. Worth a look!
Not-so-secretly, this part of the post is somewhat directed at Tessa and her “Dreaming of a Nicer Home” series. Tessa also has modeled sweet vintage threads in Lara’s etsy shoppe and is in the band Brave Radar and co-runs Fixture Records!! Just one more lady maverick to name check!

I love the new Nightwood photos!! Very cute.
Thanks for the shoutout. Both those sites are great for inspiration. I’m going to post some pictures from Design Sponge I think.
Have you seen The Selby? It’s good for that too. Portraits of artists in their homes, click through for handwritten interviews and lots of photos.
