Darlings,
We leave today for our week long foray into Ontario with that Toronto band, Modernboys Moderngirls. Working bands do what they have got to do during these tough times. Guelph: come on out to Jimmy Jazz tonight, OK?
Just a quick note to say that we’ll be blogging over on Indyish while we’re away, so do check out our photos, videos and writing over there while we’re gone. We’ve also put a casserole in the fridge, just warm it up in the oven for twenty minutes before eating it. Also, if you could water the plants on Monday, that would be super.
Do keep your eyes peeled for NW-related business in other corners of the Internet: maybe a little Midnight Poutine, Worn Fashion Journal and Meet You At the Show…we’ll see.
Be good and see you at the shows!
- “There is a wisdom that is woe; but there is a woe that is madness. And there is a Catskill eagle in some souls that can alike dive down into the blackest gorges, and soar out of them again and become invisible in the sunny spaces. And even if he for ever flies within the gorge, that gorge is in the mountains; so that even in his lowest swoop the mountain eagle is still higher than other birds upon the plain, even though they soar.” – Herman Melville, Moby Dick (via smut-to-go)

Have fun! I’m looking forward to the stories.
